The latest trip aboard Maximus III has been pure joy to track, sun-splashed days, postcard sunrises, and a rhythm of adventure that reminds us why we build with such care. While I couldn’t be there in person, daily updates have been pouring in, and the stories are exactly what we envisioned when we moved the Primary Stateroom to the bridge deck level. Waking up to a panoramic aft-facing sunrise, coffee in hand, is the kind of detail that changes every morning on the water.

They’ve hugged the quiet coves of the San Juan Islands, choosing to anchor out twice rather than tie up, leaning fully into that true off-the-grid feeling. Shore excursions to Fossil Bay, hikes and kayaking, tender runs to watch playful seals and otters, and a celebratory night in Roche Harbor with dinner at McMillans have rounded out a trip that’s both unhurried and unforgettable.
